The
BMW XM is not here to load. As the first M-exclusive model since the M1, this supercharged plug-in hybrid produces 644 net horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque from its twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V -8 and electric motor. On paper, the XM looks like it fits right in with BMW’s other M-branded vehicles, but its strange aesthetics and awkward driving manners make us wonder who this car is for, because it’s definitely not us.
