Tesla has raised the price of its entire electric vehicle (EV) range, following recent price cuts.
The Tesla Model 3 and Model Y range are now $400 more expensive overall. It’s worth noting that the company doesn’t publish a price list that includes the Luxury Car Tax, which means the price increase varies if you take this into account.
This price increase follows a previous $400 increase for rear-wheel drive models earlier this year.
Prices for the Tesla Model 3 sedan now start at $64,300 before on-road costs for a single motor RWDand extends to $90,300 before on-road and Luxury Car Tax for dual-motor Performance.
Prices for the Tesla Model Y SUV now start at $69,300 before on the road for a single motor RWDand extends to $95,300 before on-road and LCT for dual-motor Performance.

Model 3
As mentioned above, this latest price increase follows a recent price cut of up to $3400 which also saw the price of some paint and wheel options reduced.
However, at the same time, Tesla slightly raised prices for both ordering and delivery fees. The order fee is now $400, and the shipping fee is now $1400 – an increase of $50 and $25.
Tesla usually honors the price displayed when placing an order.
In January the Tesla Model 3 was the best-selling passenger car in Australia according to VFACTS industry sales data, with 2927 of them reaching customers.

Model Y
It is the highest trim ever for an EV on the Australian market. The current delivery window is February through June, due to strong supply.
The Model 3 also drove overall EV sales to 5.7 percent of total market share, nearly doubling total EV share from calendar year 2022.
The Model Y is more limited in supply however, managing only 386 January deliveries. The crossover is subject to a delivery window during April through June.
