    Mercedes-Benz ML and GLE recalled

    Mercedes-Benz remembering 2012-2018 ML and GLE models due to problems with their fuel pump control units.

    “Due to a manufacturing defect, water can come into contact with the fuel pump control unit. This can affect the fuel supply to the engine and result in loss of power while driving,” the company said in its recall notice.

    “Loss of power while driving can increase the risk of accidents causing injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users and the public.”

    • A number of 18,331 Mercedes-Benz ML and GLE models are affected from 2012-2018
