FCA Australia has withdrawn 2015-2023 Jeep Cherokee SUV to troubleshoot the Power Transfer Unit.
“Due to a manufacturing defect, the spline of the differential gear inside the Power Transfer Unit may be worn. This can result in loss of motive power while driving and loss of the “Park” function while stationary,” the recall notice said.
