An observer has captured a moment Honda CR-V rolling down the boat ramp into the ocean.
A video posted to TikTok by Jamie Keaney shows a woman getting out of a CR-V SUV without activating the parking brake.
To his surprise, when he got out of the vehicle it began to roll into the ocean, before beginning to float a few seconds later.
The driver tried to free himself from the car and shortly after tried to swim in the water to get to the SUV.
Automatic rain-sensing wipers are activated when the vehicle drifts further into water.
Thanks to the driver’s side door being left open, the SUV began to fill with water quickly causing it to quickly sink.
Images at the end of the video show the vehicle completely submerged in the ocean with the driver’s side door and rear door open.
It’s unclear what happened after the footage was taken, other than Reddit users come up with some quips and wise words.
