Limited run Audi RSQ3 10 year edition has been confirmed for Australia, with a “very limited” supply of the Sportback version scheduled to arrive in the second quarter of 2023.
With just 555 examples to be sold worldwide, the 10-year edition RSQ3 Sportback should be a rare sight on Australian roads, bringing a range of special exterior and interior details to distinguish the anniversary special from the ‘standard’ RSQ3.
Prices for Australia will start at $102,900 plus on-road costsor $3100 more than the regular RSQ3 Sportback. Car Expert have contacted Audi Australia to confirm the exact number of units in local allocation, and are awaiting a reply.
Special edition highlights include an exclusive Dew Silver matte effect or Chronos Gray metallic paint finish, 21-inch twin-spoke light alloys finished in black, black brake calipers, a dark LED Matrix interior and gloss black exterior accents.
Inside, there are special leather Dinamica RS bucket seats (exclusive to the 10-year edition) with back covers in matte carbon, as well as new jet black upholstery, brass topstitching, matte-finish carbon inlays, and special-edition illuminated door sill trims projects a red Audi Sport 3D diamond onto the ground when the doors open.
Power comes from transference 2.5 liter five cylinder turbocharged petrol engineboast the same 294kW and 480Nm (2250-5850rpm) as standard RSQ3. That’s all fed to the quattro permanent all-wheel drive system via a seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Quote RSQ3 and RSQ3 Sportback 0-100 times 4.5 secondsand the top speed is limited to 250km/h. However, the limiter can be increased to 280km/h “on demand” with optional options. The RSQ3 model sent to Australia is also equipped with an RS sports exhaust system as standard.
Just like the wider Audi line-up, the 10-year edition RSQ3 Sportback is covered by the brand’s five-year unlimited kilometer warranty, supported by a 12-year paintwork warranty against corrosion.
