Audi Australia increases prices on most models

Audi Australia has started the new year with price increases across almost its entire range.

The price hike is effective from January 1, 2023 and ranges from $200 to $2900 depending on the model and variant.

Affected models include A1, A3, S3, A4, S4, RS4, A5, S5, RS5, A6, S6, RS6, A7, S7, RS7, Q2, SQ2, Q5, SQ5, Q7 and SQ7.

While all of these Audi models received price increases in this particular price adjustment, one model instead experienced a price cut. The e-tron GT is now $1500 cheaper, with the range now starting at $180,200 before on-road costs for the e-tron GT, and rising to $248,200 before on-road for the RS e-tron GT.

Audi’s latest price adjustment follows two near-range price hikes it has made over the course of 2022. The first was in February, with the brand citing rising material costs and ongoing supply challenges.

The smallest price increases for this latest round apply to the S5 and S5 Sportback. They both received a $200 increase, meaning they now both start at $113,200 before on-road costs.

The vehicles with the biggest price increases are the RS6 Avant and RS7 liftback, with a price increase of $2900. They now start at $232,200 and $239,200 before on-road costs, respectively.

Many brands have raised prices of late, citing inflation and rising shipping costs. BMW has recently raised prices on many of its models, as have Porsche, Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz.

The updated January 2023 prices for the affected Audi models are as follows:
