First, the year-by-year sales chart below will show you how some brands move up and down the charts as the years go by. Look at the Holden in particular when it disappears from the landscape.
These figures are not cumulative and reflect year-over-year sales, including passenger vehicles, SUVs, and both light and heavy commercial vehicles.

Now, here is a cumulative graph of all total sales for the past 25 years. This data does not include certain brands (eg Tesla) that do not report their sales for several years as the latest data will be inaccurate overall.
